Artistic Steampunk Exclusive Tutorial by Belinda at BKC Designs

I am using the artwork of Verymany.  You need a license to use this tube. You can purchase this tube at their store HERE 

 

I am using the kit Artistic Automation by PinkParadox Productions. This kit is exclusive to Artistic Tag Passions forum 

 

Open new image 700 x 700

 

Edit, copy Frame 12

 

Edit, paste, paste as new layer

 

Image, resize 50%

 

With your magic wand click inside of the frame

 

Selections, Modify, Expand by 8

 

Edit, copy Paper 34

 

Edit, paste, paste as new layer

 

Layers, arrange, send to bottom

 

Image, resize 60%

 

Selections, Invert

 

Edit, clear

 

Selections, Select None

 

Select Raster 2

 

Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow, Settings of:

Vertical : 2

Horizontal: 2

Opacity: 50

Blur: 6

Color: Black

Shadow on new layer NOT Checked

 

Edit, copy Tube

 

Edit, paste, paste as new layer

 

Image, resize to fit your tag. I resized 45% because the tube is on the big size

 

Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow, Same settings

 

Edit, copy 185

 

Edit, paste, paste as new layer

 

Layers, arrange, send to bottom

 

Image, resize 50%

 

Move to the right. Move around so a little of the wire is showing on the right side of the frame

Image, Flip

 

Line up the wires so they look like they are connected at the top of the frame

 

Select Raster 2

 

Edit, copy 126

 

Edit, paste, paste as new layer

 

Move to the bottom of the frame

 

Image, resize 70%

 

Layers, Duplicate

 

Pull the duplicate down but make it look like it is one piece of grass that is together

 

Layers, merge, merge down

 

Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow, Same settings

 

Select Raster 2

 

Edit, copy 95

 

Edit, paste, paste as new layer

 

Image, resize 25%

 

Move to the top right of the frame

Move to the top right of the frame placing atop the previous element you placed there

Move behind the tube and on the grass

Move around til it is to your liking

Move to the left and place on the lantern

Move to the top left of the frame. Move around til it is positioned the way you want

Move down below the edge of the frame. Don't move it below the wire
